PLEASE! DO NOT order this hat at this price! This is a shantung (paper) straw hat. Its a $70 hat MAX. I believe I gave about $60 for mine in the summer of '19. I own 2 open roads, one shantung and one 6x fur felt. I have studied every version and nearly every retailer of these hats. The only straw version of this Stetson model I would pay anything close to $176 for is the hemp version. And I probably wouldn't pay that for it. Shantung is okay, and has its place for a low priced hat, but it will not take getting wet, it doesn't breathe well, and its as hard as plastic. They do look sharp and go well with formal attire in the summer, ie: seersucker suit etc. But dear God don't pay these people $176 for a $60 hat.So, I am a huge Open Road fan. I have a fur one, which fits true to size, maybe even slightly small, but after wearing it for almost a year now, it fits perfect. I got this straw one today (for $70 elsewhere), and I like the color, but they run large. I am glad I bought mine in a brick and mortar store, because my usual size 7 3/8 was too big, even with spacers, but one size down 7 1/4, fit good, albeit a little snug. I've worn it now for a few hours, and either my head got used to it, or it actually stretched a little just from wearing it this short amount of time. It's a great looking hat, especially for those of us whose head shape (mine is narrow) aren't especially flattered by the traditional wide-brimmed cowboy hats.I own several stetson open road hats. Both straw and felt of different qualities and price points. There is a version of this hat that cost about $75. There is also a version that has tighter weave with less flaws that runs about $110. At a glance they look the same. Do not pay that’s insane amount for this hat. Maybe the amount the seller is asking is a typo? I’m sure there is an occasional fool that will make the mistake of ordering it from the seller.Der Hut hat mir nicht gefallen. Er wirkt sehr klein und hat damit wenig von einem Stetson Cowboyhut. Habe ihn zurück geschickt.Hut war verbogen, so verschickt man keine Hüte, der letzte Hut den ich von Stetson gekauft habe.
